We're looking for someone who can help us increase our impact by getting more students excited about learning data science using Dataquest. You'll understand the landscape of data science education, and target potential students through ad channels like Facebook and Google Ads. There are millions of students learning data science at any given time, and we're only reaching a small fraction of them at the moment.
In order to increase the number of students who use Dataquest, you'll need to develop student personas, and target each persona with personalized messaging. Many students feel like they can't learn data science, or don't understand how to get started, and personalized messaging can help them reach their goals. We have a huge library of content across our site and our blog that can be used as part of this messaging.
This personalized messaging will help us both increase the number of students signing up to Dataquest, and the number of those students that eventually convert to subscribers. We're looking for someone who's data-driven, passionate about education, and able to understand the motivations of our students.
Dataquest is growing quickly, and this is a chance to join a small team working on a large, socially impactful, problem. You'll have an opportunity to create and iterate on a high impact marketing program.
